Grandma and Papa Feli visited from Colorado this past weekend. We had a lot of fun being outside the majority of the weekend!
Saturday we went to the zoo. We got to do a lot of fun things that we haven’t done there before, including feeding a giraffe and seeing the “Great American Wings of Wonder Bird Show”.
Bryson was excited to feed the giraffes, but when it was our turn, he had to watch me go first. Then I had to help him, but he did hold on to the cracker and let the giraffe take it from him! Pretty brave!
Bryson was so cute during the bird show. He held out his hand each time the bird flew by, because he wanted the bird to land on it. Fortunately, no birds took the bait!
Mya slept the majority of the time we were at the zoo.
Sunday included a walk to the park. Bryson did an awesome job showing us the way to the creek bed, where we saw some salamanders and a snake. Then he played on the play set at the park with Grandma Feli, which he loved.
It was a fun weekend, and Mya was happy to finally meet her Grandma and Papa Feli. Maybe next time, we’ll be able to make a trip out to Colorado for a visit!
