Bryson and I did an event last night with the Madeira Mom’s group that I am part of. It was a paint night at Mad Potter. Bryson was super excited to go, and really wanted to paint a light switch cover, similar to what we painted for the kid’s last month.
When we got there, there were a whole bunch of different things to choose from, but Bryson was stuck on the light switch cover. He wanted to paint it for our room, since we made one for his room. He started with that, and here’s the almost finished product:
This will be fired in the kiln over the next week, and then we get to pick-up the real finished product. At first, he had only painted a little of the light switch cover, but after a bit of convincing, he covered the whole thing, so it would be shiny all over.
I asked him if he wanted to paint anything else, and he found a turtle to paint, which I think he is giving to Grandma Slattery. Here is the almost finished product:
He had an example to go off for this one, so I think he felt more comfortable painting it. I think it looks pretty cute!
I asked him if he wanted to paint anything else, like maybe a coffee mug for Grandma Feli, but he said he was done. I guess he can only sit and paint for so long.
Hopefully I will remember to post a pic of the final finished product, all shiny and out of the kiln next week….
