Bryson and Mya say some pretty cute things, and I have 2 things that are too funny not to share. I’ll also throw in some cute random pictures, just for fun.
I’ll start with Bryson’s….
When I was little, my parents had some silk sheets from China that we occasionally got to sleep on. I loved those sheets, so I bought something similar a long time ago. One night, all of Bryson’s normal sheets for his bed were in the wash, so we had to use the silk sheets on his bed.
The sheets we have now are shiny and silver. I put them on Bryson’s bed, and when he went in to get ready for bed, he said (in all seriousness), “Did you guys duct tape my bed?!?!?”
I guess it kind of looked like it, but Nick and I thought it was hilarious. We reassured him that his bed was not duct taped. He enjoyed using the new “duct tape” sheets.
Mya, on the other hand, is communicating more and more. I think there are times where she knows what she wants to say, but isn’t really sure how to say it.
Her latest thing is whenever she has something that she thinks is hers. She will hold on to whatever it is, and tell Bryson that “It’s mine! I got it at McDonalds.” I have no idea where this has come from, but she has used this at least 3 times: one time for her giant rhino she got from the Easter Egg Hunt, another time for something that wasn’t even hers, and another time for a coloring book she got from the Easter bunny.
We don’t go to McDonalds that often, but apparently Mya thinks everything comes from McDonalds. Oh well, it makes me laugh every time I hear her say it!
