Colorado visitors!

This past weekend, Grandma and Grandpa Felicelli visited from Colorado.  It was a lot of fun, and I think Bryson had a lot of fun hanging out with them!

On Saturday, we went to the Cincinnati Museum Center to see the Holiday trains in the morning.  We started the day with a free tour of the Union Terminal train station, which used to be a very busy train station, but now houses 3 museums and is a historical Ohio building.  This free tour was acutally really cool, with some historical information on the old train station as well as a background look at what used to be the President’s office, board rooms, and some other behind the scenes looks.

We then went to see the holiday trains.  The trains used to be downtown and free, but they moved to the Museum Center this year, and it costs $8.50 to get in.  You also have to walk through the entire Cincinnati museum in order to get to the trains.  Apparently that didn’t stop anyone though, because the trains were just as crowded as usual.

Saturday night we went to the Cincinnati Zoo for the Festival of lights.

Sunday we took a long walk, hung out at the house, and watched the Bears lose….unfortunately.

Overall, it was a fun weekend, and Bryson can’t wait to see Grandma and Grandpa Felicelli again!  Hopefully we’ll be getting out to Colorado soon for a visit!
