Today is the last day of work till we get to take a trip out to Colorado to ski, visit friends, and family. It will probably be a looong day.
First we will visit friends in Colorado and go skiing till Monday. Then we will meet up with my parents on Monday night and go to dinner somewhere. After that we will spend a few days with them before heading off to good old Las Vegas. This time in Vegas we will be attending a show, and having some fun at a different hotel than the past two times. We will be staying at Harrah’s nearer the strip so we don’t have to drive or take a taxi.
Oh yeah, we will be playing a tournament out in Vegas as well.
Its been a while since the last post so I’ll update the status on our house. We purchased a rug and lights for the main room so as to add some color to pretty plain coloring of the room. It now looks like an actual room now. We still need to find some bedroom furniture as well as a kitchen/dining room table. We have actually bought the table, we just cannot get it delivered till the 31st of January so after our vacation we should have a table that next week.
We have some quotes on getting fencing for our back yard so hopefully it is not too cold for that yet. If not we should have the fence up soon-ish.
Last Sunday was a busy day for me as I started a new batch of beer thanks to Jason for giving me the Irish Red Ale pack to make. It took a total of about 3 hrs to complete. Most of the time was for setup and finding all the parts from when we moved. The brew time wasn’t all that long or bad. Right now it is fermenting in the basement and should be ready in about 2 weeks or so depending on the measurements.s
