Its been a long time since my last post. We have done a few things but not much.
BLACKHAWKS WIN!!!!! Thats some major news right there. It has been 49 years since the last Stanley Cup victory for the Chicago Blackhawks. It was so very amazing to watch their run as well as the parade after they won. An estimated 2 million people were out to cheer them on. Its good to see hockey getting such a giant and warm welcome.
We have finally bought some shades and window treatments for our main living room. It makes it look so much better than just blinds. At the same time I put the window treatments up I hung our first wall decoration! Now to continue and put up more decoration. With the windows and one hanging the other walls are actually looking kinda bare.
This past weekend was a busy one, Mo and I competed in our first ever Loveland Amazing race and came in 47th place with at time of 1:46:33. Not too shabby for our first try at it. We have just signed up for next year as well so we have a goal to shatter. It was a fun time and ending with a somewhat leisurely float down a river.
The next day was basically the first start to our ultimate season tournament schedule. While it was only a one day tournament with some local/close teams it still was a good showing. Our team Steamboat won all four games but they were all very close and competitive.
I have also completed creating a new website for the Cincinnati Ultimate Players Association. CUPA is a organization that promotes ultimate around Cincinnati and their website was quite out of date. There is still a bunch of things to do for them which will keep me busy throughout the rest of the year and beyond.
I know I have said this before but I will be trying to post more than once every 4 months or longer. Just need to set some reminders so that when I am sitting on the couch I can just write up a quick post instead of just watching TV.
