Merry Christmas (a few days late) and Happy New Year!
We had a week long Christmas celebration with Mya meeting lots of new people for the first time. The week of celebrations included:
12/24/13 – Christmas Eve at the Slattery’s in Columbus, IN. Unfortunately Brian and Kelly and fam weren’t able to attend this year, because Emma and Claire were sick. We definitely missed them, but still managed to have a good time. Bryson loved running around and playing with Abigail…comparing toys, looking at the choo-choos, and playing with “Snoopy Doo’s”.
Can you tell Bryson was a little excited to open presents?
12/25/13 – Christmas day was spent relaxing at the Slattery’s and catching up on some sleep. Bryson was happy to play with all his new toys. Mya slept a lot (when she wasn’t upset about getting her picture taken).
12/26/13 – We went out to lunch for Erin’s 35th birthday. We hit up one of Bryson’s first outing places – Ertel Cellar’s Winery.
12/27/13 – We celebrated Christmas at our house, with Santa bringing presents the night before. It took us about 4 hours to open Bryson’s 6 presents, because he wanted to play with each one after it was opened. It was a lot of fun….I guess he really liked all the presents!
12/28/13 – We celebrated Christmas with the Sundrup family. This is the first year this was done NOT on Christmas day. Mya met lots of new people, and Bryson played with Abigail.
New Year’s Eve was pretty uneventful with everyone in our house in bed by 9:30 pm. We woke up at midnight, because someone in our neighborhood was shooting off fireworks. Luckily, Bryson and Mya slept through it.
Here’s hoping for a wonderful 2014 for your family and ours! Happy New Year! Hope your holidays were just as fun!
