Mya had her first State Park weekend visit with the “Sundrups and Friends Clan”. This is the first of hopefully many to come in the future.
Highlights from this year’s trip include…
Bryson getting to watch movies in the car for the first time.
Lot of swimming…Bryson loved it. He is definitely getting more comfortable in the water, and liked spinning around while he was wearing his turtle floaties. He didn’t want to go down the water slide yet, but maybe next year. Mya was not a fan of the water. We put her in and she started crying, so Nick or I sat with her on the side while Bryson swam with the other.
Dinner on Sat. night was also a lot of fun. We ate in the lodge and had the back room to ourselves. After dinner, all of the kids got to play around, dance to the live music, and Emma led a choo-choo train around the dinner tables. It was too cute!
This was also our first time all sleeping in the same room, and it went okay. Mya woke up 5 times on Friday night followed by sleeping through the night on Saturday. Bryson refused to nap all weekend, even on the way home.
It was a really fun weekend! I can’t wait until our next State Park weekend, Clifty Falls in August!
