We had a fun 4th of July this year! We went to the Madeira parade on the 3rd, followed by a trip to Grandma and Grandpa Slattery’s house on the 4th.
At the parade this year, I participated in the Madeira Mile, and finished in 7:27. I was pretty happy with my time, especially since I’ve only been running longer distances.
Bryson loved the fire trucks, ambulances, and lots and lots of free candy. Mya wasn’t sure about all the loud noises, but didn’t cry at all while Daddy was holding her. Here are some photos from the run/parade:
At the Slattery’s house, Bryson caught his first fish, via his fly fishing method. He liked to have me cast it out and then he slowly reeled it in. Somehow he managed to catch a fish this way. Here’s some pictures from the fun:
