Over the past 2 weeks or so, I’ve been telling anyone who asks that she is “almost 8 months old.” Well now it’s official. It came out of nowhere that she actually IS 8 months old.
The new, big thing this month is Mya is almost crawling. She can go from sitting, down to her tummy, without any issues. She is also lust now starting to get up on all 4’s. She wants to move so bad, but isn’t quite there yet. She has gotten really good at spinning around in circles on her belly. I’m pretty sure she is going to be moving full speed in the next couple months…then it’s going to be time to close the baby gates and pick up all the little toys. Oh boy!
She has also started to eat quite a bit more. Her favorite foods are still carbs and watermelon. She also got to try some mashed sweet potatoes, which she loved!
Sleep has been going okay. At night, she usually goes down without a fuss. Then she wakes up about 2 times to nurse and goes back to sleep right away (most of the time anyway). Last night, she actually slept through the whole night! This was the first time in over a month! Yay!
We still have tough nights too. On Saturday, she didn’t want to go to bed, and she woke up at 4am and didn’t want to go back to sleep. She thought it was more fun to blow raspberries at us and then laugh. Mya….you’re lucky your cute! 🙂
Naps are still pretty much all over the place. It’s been pretty tough to get into a routine with all the running around we do in the mornings.
She still has no teeth, and her blonde hair is starting to come in a little more, but she still has a way to go. I lover her cute, bald little head. She’s perfect!
