I don’t want to forget these as he gets older, so here are some more fun quotes from Bryson…
- “I look like Jesus” – this was after he was done with his bath, and he was wearing a bath towel. I guess, maybe he is learning something in Kids Club at church!
- “Sugarized? I don’t see sugar in my eyes.” – Bryson had cinnamon roles one morning for breakfast, and afterwards, Nick said he was sugarized, because he was running around like a crazy man. Bryson was right though. No sugar in his eyes.
- “You are a Toy! You are a child’s play thing.” – one of Bryson’s favorite movies is Toy Story. This is a quote from the movie, when Woody gets mad at Buzz Light Year. Bryson told us this on a couple separate occasions when he was mad at us. It was a pretty rough insult!
- “I can eat Skyline long, long time.” – this one speaks for itself. That’s my Cincinnati boy!
- “He doesn’t understand.” – we were at Maggiano’s and Bryson wanted some more bread. I told him that he could ask the waiter for some more bread. And Bryson did, but the waiter didn’t really respond. Bryson kept saying it, and the waiter kind of nodded, but Bryson really wanted more bread. Bryson then said in a desperate and whiny voice, “he doesn’t understand.” We all laughed, but I think the waiter was a little embarrassed. He’s just like his Uncle Brian with waiters apparently!
Bryson is also still using some fun words. “Prekidding” is a combination of pretending and kidding. Sunscreen is also referred to as “Sun Scream”. I love hearing all the silly things this boy comes up with!
