Swim Lessons

Today was our first day back at swim lessons.  Bryson hasn’t been in lessons since before Mya was born, so we were long overdue.

We are taking them at a new place, called Hubbard Family Swim School.  They are definitely more structured than the YMCA, and no floaties are allowed,

Mya and Bryson both had a blast.  I was a little worried about Bryson, since he was going to have to go with an instructor and not with me.  Once we got there, I think he was just super excited to get in the water, so he was all smiles.  He did a little floating on his back, but mainly just got to play with toys and splash around.

Mya was the happiest kid in her class.  She didn’t go under water this week, so we’ll see if she’s still the happiest kid after she starts going under.  There were a lot of tears from the other kids, but Mya loved it.  She even went down the slide twice, which some of the other kids wanted nothing to do with it.  Our little adventurer was at it once again.

I didn’t get any pictures of the kids during swim lessons, but I did get a cute one of them after.  They both got new shirts and had to wear them.  You two are too cute!
