Over the past couple weeks, Bryson got to take 2 field trips with day care, and Mya got to take 1. The first field trip was only for preschool kids and older, so Mya didn’t get to join. The kids got to walk to the Taft theater and see the Littler Mermaid Jr live. It was put on by The Children’s Theater of Cincinnati.
This was Bryson’s first time seeing live theater, other than when he saw Awaited at Crossroads. I think he liked it for the most part. They kept it interesting for the kids with a lot of goofy antics and cool props.
After the show, Bryson, Nick and I went back to my work and had lunch in the cafeteria. Bryson loved that he got to choose whatever he wanted for lunch, and he made his choice wisely: mac & cheese, cucumbers, and lemonade. We talked about our favorite parts of the show and anything we didn’t like. One of my coworkers stopped by to say, “Hi” to Bryson, but he wasn’t a big fan of that. Bryson even got his own badge with his picture on it, which he had to wear around the building.
The next field trip was just yesterday. Both Bryson and Mya got to go trick-or-treating at the P&G offices. There are over 40 floors between the 2 buildings, and the daycare classes just happened to be coming to the floor that I work on.
Both Mya and Bryson got tons of candy. Bryson got to sit in my desk too, which he thought was pretty cool!
