Soccer and K-Prep Graduation

Just 2 updates on some big accomplishments by Bryson…

He is in his 3rd season of playing Soccer.  He played last spring, last fall, and now this Spring again.  He is doing awesome and he scored his first goal a few weeks ago.  He was a little reluctant to score a goal, saying he did not want to, because he did not want people cheering for him.  He’s not a big fan of having the attention on him.

But while they were playing, he was near the goal, the ball came to him, and he was in a great position to kick it in, so he did!  Nick and I cheered, and I think Bryson was pretty happy too!

Nick and I were really proud of him and had fun watching him play!

Mya also has fun at soccer.  The one day, she decided to put on Bryson’s old soccer cleats and run around.  Another time, I was watching Bryson score a goal, and I looked down and in a matter of seconds, Mya had taken her shirt off.  I guess that’s how she was celebrating Bryson’s goal! IMG_0732Another big accomplishment with Bryson is he had Kindergarten-Prep Graduation.  This was on my last day of work before maternity leave, so it was a big day for everyone.  Bryson and his class had been practicing for the graduation for a couple weeks.

It was super cute, with Bryson wearing a cap and gown.  I tried not to cry as Bryson walked down the aisle to the stage, but it was tough.  My eyes were definitely tearing up.

His class sang a song, “Going on a Bear Hunt”.  They also did a class video and got their graduation certificate.  Check out the video below:

His favorite thing about K-Prep is “Playing outside and with the toys”.  He loves are family because of “Snuggle Bug”, and he want to be a “Firefighter” when he grows up.

Bryson has come so far over the past year, learning so many skills like how to write all his letters, how to count, some basic math skills, and many other things.  I’m so proud of him.  I can’t believe he’s going to be starting Kindergarten in the fall, but I know he is ready!
