Landon is 15 months!
The last few months have included lots of trips to the doctor. It feels like Landon has been sick a lot. He had a couple stomach bugs, 2 ear infections, a few colds, and most recently he got hand foot and mouth disease. This kid does not like being sick! Me either (for that matter). Hopefully, he is adjusting a little more to day care and will be a little healthier in the next few months.
When Landon is not sick, he is generally the most smiley, happy, little guy. He loves to be chased or “run” circles around the kitchen island with Mya and Bryson. He’s not quite that quick yet, but he loves to walk while Mya and Bryson run. He also loves to throw things…balls, chalk, dog food.
Stats from his 15 month well-check are below:
- Height: inches ( percentile)
- Weight: pounds ( percentile)
- Head Circumference: ( percentile)
Landon is a little bit of a picky eater. He much prefers fruits and crackers. He also likes eggs and yogurt. He’s not a big fan of meat, pasta, mac & cheese or vegetables. One cute thing he’s done lately, is he will take any “yucky” food from his meal and stick it in the cup holder on his highchair’s tray. We call it his garbage disposal. He does that, or he just flings the food off his tray or backwards.
He also loves to brush his teeth, climb on things, and “cook” in the toy kitchen. Landon is also still scarred of the hot mitts. He likes them from a distance, but get to close, and he does his squinty, blinky face. He also trys to crawl up you to get away from them if you’re holding him.

Sleep is pretty consistent. He naps one time per day and wakes up one time per night. He goes to bed around 7 and gets up between 6-7. He loves to sleep with his elephant (Fint). And whenever we go upstairs, he immediately has to find Fint, and makes the elephant noise until he finds him.
Landon is signing quite a bit, and has really become interested in books lately. He signs and says book. He’s also saying about 5 other words (more, milk, down, yay, – to name a few), and he shakes his head no when he doesn’t want to do something.
A cute moment this month was when we were by the fountain in downtown Madeira. Landon kept trying to pull his shirt off, because he wanted to go in the fountain. This kid loves bath time and water. We love this little man too!
