It’s been a long time since I updated with some funny quotes from the kids. I try to jot them down in my phone, so I won’t forget. Some of these are pretty old (the Brown County one is almost a year!), but they still make me smile. Enjoy!
- Mommy: What is that letter?
- Bryson: Pew (combo of P and Q)
And one time from when Bryson was sick…
- Mommy: Tell the diarrhea to go away.
- Bryson: Are you pre-kidding me?
And this one happened one night after we put Bryson to bed…
- Daddy: What are you doing? (after Bryson changed out of his pajamas into shorts, undies, and his swim shirt)
- Bryson: I’m getting ready for Brown County!
And the one time Bryson was playing with glow sticks in the car after church…
- Bryson: Watermelons and rainbows! It’s like watermelon and rainbows!
- Mommy and Daddy: Whaaa?
And the time we went to Skyline before the Red’s parade…
- Waitress to Bryson: I like your shirt! Who are you going to see today?
- Bryson: The CHICAGO Reds
And the ice cream incident…
- Nick and I went upstairs to put Mya to sleep and left Bryson downstairs to play. Nick went downstairs a little later to find Bryson letting Kizzie lick a half gallon container of vanilla ice cream from the freezer, which he got out himself.
- Nick: Uh Bryson, what are you doing?
- Bryson: Mommy said I could do it.
- Nick: She did? (in disbelief)
- I later came down and confirmed that I did not say he could do this. We talked to Bryson about asking before he does things like this. Bryson then had an idea…
- Bryson: I have a great idea! Next time we go to Graeter’s, we can buy some more ice cream:
- Nick and I: Uh-huh…
And the one time we were swimming on vacation and I took my hair tie out in the pool…
- Bryson: (very concerned) Mommy, you took your pony tail out in the pool? You have to get it back! I don’t want you to lose it! (he was actually pretty upset, but I showed him it was still there)

- Daddy: Mya, where do you want to go for lunch?
- Mya: MUFFIN! (with a huge grin)
