So tired…

November had a severe lack of blogging done on my part.  I have a good excuse though…I’ve been tired!  Yes, very tired! First, we let the kids know why I was so tired: Then we let the Slatterys and Felicellis know. The first picture was our snacks on Thanksgiving day, and the second picture was …

Thanksgiving Time

Thanksgiving this year was lots of fun.  The Slatterys came down and stayed with us Wed through Sat, and we made good use of our time. Wednesday night we headed to the Cincinnati Zoo for the annual Festival of Lights.  The weather was pretty warm, the zoo was very crowded, but the kids loved it.  …

Accomplishments

Bryson and Mya both had some big accomplishments over the past couple of weeks. Bryson’s was for swimming.  He got his first ribbon.  He back-floated all by himself.  This is a huge step for him, and has been a long time coming (3 months).  It’s exciting to see him making some progress at swim lessons. …

Happy Halloween 2015!

Happy Halloween!  We had a fun all day celebration, since Halloween was on a Saturday this year.  The morning was filled with orange pumpkin pancakes with blueberry eyes, nose and smiles.  After breakfast, we carved our 2 pumpkins.  I helped Bryson, and Nick helped Mya.  Neither were big fans of touching the pumpkin guts, but …

Field Trips

Over the past couple weeks, Bryson got to take 2 field trips with day care, and Mya got to take 1.  The first field trip was only for preschool kids and older, so Mya didn’t get to join.  The kids got to walk to the Taft theater and see the Littler Mermaid Jr live.  It was …

Soccer Pictures

For Nick’s birthday, his parents gave him a zoom lens for our camera…finally!  I was able to shoot some soccer pictures, while Nick helped coach Bryson’s team, “Flaming Fire”.  Hope you enjoy the pics with the new lens!

Sickness

It’s been almost 2.5 weeks since I last blogged.  I was previously on a blogging role…but things happen: kids get sick, accidents happen, kids don’t want to sleep, etc. After vacation, the kids surprisingly didn’t get sick.  I thought with all the running around, exposure to germs at the touristy places, and less sleep than …

Vacation 2015!

So we finally went on a family vacation.  It wasn’t far, just to Columbus, OH, but we had a blast! We took close to 1000 pictures, so get ready for picture overload! We were in Columbus Monday through Friday, which was really nice, because we didn’t have to deal with the crowds at any of …

Mya – 1.75 Years

As of the 10th, Mya was 1.75 years old, aka 21 months old.  She is well on her way to being a toddler, and we see more and more of her little personality every day. She is quite the adventurer.  At swim lessons, she is always the first to go down the slide, while most of …
